A cepken is a kind of vest. This particular piece comes from the family of Mr. Şaban Yaylalı who originated from Kayılar – Kozan (in Greek: Πτολεμαΐδα/Κοζάνη). Mr. Şaban’s father, Halil Yaylalı, wore this vest in his circumcision. This completely handmade vest is an object more than a hundred years old.
