International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Screening of the documentary “Restor(y)ing”

To commemorate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, on 27th of January 2024, The Βasket Gallery will screen the documentary “Restor(y)ing”, a film by Periklis Kortsaris. The film is in Greek and English with respectively English and Greek subtitles. The film is availabe on TheBasketGallery YouTube Channel.

With support of Holocaust survivors, historians, legal and other experts, the film looks into questions of restitution with regard to Jewish properties in Greece after the Shoah. It also seeks the views of public opinion through a survey conducted in collaboration with the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.
